Return and Refund Policy

Our Commitment

At Badger's Bookshop, we take pride in every order we send out. If something is not right with your purchase, we will make it right. Please read the following policy carefully so you know exactly what to expect.

30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return window starting from the date your order is delivered. If 30 days have passed since your delivery date, we are unfortunately unable to offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be accompanied by your original order confirmation or order number.

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please email us at contact.badgers.shop@gmail.com or call us at +1 (402) 314-6602. Include your name, order number, and the reason for your return. Do not send your item back before hearing from us — we will provide you with the correct return address and instructions within 2 to 3 business days.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where we made an error — such as sending the wrong item or an item that was significantly misrepresented. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost during return transit.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If your return is approved, a refund will be applied to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider.

If you have not received your refund after 10 business days, please first check with your bank. If the issue persists, contact us at contact.badgers.shop@gmail.com and we will look into it right away.

Damaged or Wrong Items

If your order arrives damaged in transit or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a brief description and, if possible, a photo. We will resolve the issue with a replacement, store credit, or full refund — at no additional cost to you.

Non-Returnable Items

We are unable to accept returns on items returned more than 30 days after delivery, items that have been damaged after receipt, or items marked as final sale at the time of purchase.

Used and Secondhand Books

As we specialize in used and secondhand books, items may show normal signs of prior ownership such as light shelf wear, previous owner inscriptions, or minor yellowing. These characteristics are inherent to pre-owned books and do not constitute grounds for a return unless they were not disclosed in the listing.

Exchanges

Due to the nature of our inventory, we cannot always guarantee the same title will be available for a direct exchange. Please contact us and we will do our best to find the right solution for you.
